These images are disturbing, yes. But images I believe people should see none the less.
Every night I pray for their safe return. But I also pray for those now home....for the war will stay with them for a lifetime.
Be proud of your country. Be proud of your soldiers......

Ash thank you for this post. We need to be reminded way too often the hell our military is living so we can enjoy freedom and liberty here. May God give them the strength and resolve to handle the hardships that are brought on them.

Thank you Ash, for posting this. My son is a sargeant in the Army, and although he is an Army recruiter as of May he will be done with that, and in all likelihood will be going back to Iraq. I pray everynight for this war to be over, so that moms and dads dont have to send their children over there.
Great video.

As a child of a military member, I have always been very aware of the sacrifices the men & women (and their families) make for this country. My father did three tours in Vietnam and was gone for a very long time. But this was my life as I knew it. He was gone for several weeks and we did not know where and only found out when he came home that he had been in Grenada (anyone remember that?) He was also in Jonestown, retrieving the bodies. I have many friends that have served in this war and others (Croatia, Somalia, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, etc.). I may not agree with the politics of why we are there but I ALWAYS support the men & women that are there. I have good friends in Iraq now and constantly pray for their safe return. I have been blessed that everyone I know has return in one piece. However, their emotional scars will always be there, and we can't see them.

I thank god that those we are close to and are in the Armed forces are back home safe. Our adopted son has been "over there" 4 times on special ops, i guess thats what you call it. He doesn't like talking about it. I can see why. This video really took my breath away. I cried through most of it. I pray we can get our troops home soon.
