I want to show you something that a lot of people might not be interested in, but it's a demonstration in how people can change over the years. The above video was done in 1960, and you will note the laughter of the audience, who it seems, do not take him seriously.

Then take a look at the next audience reaction, about 30 years later. I think the revered reaction of the audience is a telling story.

And for those that still think that he was just a quack, take a look at this.

My whole point here is that while some music might not be for everybody, it's not always easy to recognize genius when we first see it, so quick judgment may lead to later having to eat your words.
