And, to think that 40 years later.....as a people, we have the opportunity to see history written this November. That this country, once held the belief that Negroes were 2/5 of a human. And, that women were neither intelligent nor emotionally stable enough to vote.
The chance that one member of these formerly ostracisized groups may become the primary occupant of the White House in Washington, D.C .......this man's work was not in vain.
Bless MLK and bless the United States of America!!! We should relish all that we have in common....rather than seek out that which divides us. Just my lone, humble opinion.
